Who we are and what we do:
Pinckney Green fireplaces is a family run company with twenty-six
years experience producing
hand carved natural stone fireplaces
.Pinckney Green specialises in bespoke
Bath stone fireplace surrounds
and Portland stone fire surrounds. Our workshop is based just outside the
Georgian city of Bath.
Bif Wilkins (director of PG) started producing stone fireplace surrounds over 20 years ago and since then opened a showroom just outside of Bath. The name Pinckney Green was formed as the company first started in a little village called Pinckney Green not far from Bath.
We offer our own range of hand carved surrounds, from simple contemporary designs to traditional styles that will suit all tastes and types of home. We also offer a bespoke service where we can recreate stone fireplace ideas or styles from customer drawings or photographs. Pinckney Green can produce any design you require, either using your own ideas or by using our personal design service
All our natural stone fireplaces are individually hand carved to measurements taken from your home. The natural beauty of Bath stone is its subtle marks such as fossilised seashells and calcite crystals means nobody will have a fireplace like yours.
We will include a site visit within an hour of Bath. During the site visit we will gather all information and dimensions required to produce your new natural stone fireplace. This is a great opportunity to ask us any questions you may have. We have years of experience about how to remove stone fireplace surrounds and what new stone fireplace ideas will complement the style, décor and proportions of your room.
We can guarantee that all of our work is created on a one-off basis for each customer, using specially selected, highest quality English stones.
Stone
We hand-carve a stunning range of stonework made from British stone including York stone, Bath stone and Portland stone that will stand the test of time.
Our stone products include stone steps, door and window surrounds, coping stones and carved building detail for any property style.
We also supply a range of interior stone flooring and patio paving in York stone, Bath stone and Portland stone including a beautiful selection of paving slabs, granite setts, cobbles and flooring tiles.
All our stone products can be delivered nationally with an installation service available within two hours of Bath.
Our wider property services including house renovation, refurbishment and garden landscaping are available mainly in the Bath and Bristol area.

Fire
We hand-carve elegant natural stone fireplaces from British, Bath and
Portland limestone.
We also supply and install all the top brands of
wood-burning or multi-fuel stoves, electric fires and gas fires.
Pinckney Green offers a Bespoke Design Service where you can either
adapt one of our existing fireplace designs or we can re-create a design
from your own photograph or drawing.
If you need a fireplace in less
than eight weeks we can often speed up your order with our Fast-Track
Service.
All our fireplaces and stoves can be delivered nationally
with an installation service available within two hours of Bath.
We
also provide chimney and flue services in the Bath and Bristol area.

Wood
We supply a beautiful range of natural wood flooring plus high quality wood
doors and windows.
Our wood flooring range includes luxurious solid
and engineered Oak, Walnut, Ash and Douglas Fir flooring and comes from
natural wood sourced from sustainable European forests.
Our most
popular engineered Oak floorboards are made with a generous 7mm full-grained
oak face, backed by 15mm of grade 1 European birch plywood to give superior
strength.
The resulting Oak flooring offers the beauty of solid wood
combined with the rigidity of engineered construction.
Oak is also a
popular choice of wood for our hand-crafted wood doors and windows which are
all made to measure by skilled joiners.
